Environmental day celebration
The environmental program organized by the Aethgala Police Station in the Kandy District in conjunction with World Environment Day 2025 was held at the Udagama Temple on 6.6.2025. The Environmental Protection and Scientific Exploration Organization successfully carried out activities such as educating the elders on current environmental and agricultural issues, planting saplings on the temple grounds, distributing saplings to the community, etc., with the full participation and instructions of the Incumbent of the Temple and the organizational strength of the Community Police Officer of the Aethgala Police Station.
